At Forefront Living, July 4th is more than just a day on the calendar—it’s a chance to come together, share joy and celebrate the spirit of freedom across all our communities. This year, each Forefront Living entity brought its own unique flair to the festivities, creating memorable moments for those we serve.
Down in San Antonio, Bella Vida teammates also came together for their own Independence Day gathering. With good food, festive decorations and the warmth of team spirit, it was a joyful reminder of the strength and unity that defines this growing community.

Forefront Living and Forefront Living Foundation
The celebration continued at Forefront Living with the Forefront Living Foundation, where teammates gathered for a festive luncheon featuring holiday-themed food and plenty of laughter. It was a simple yet meaningful way to connect with one another and celebrate the values that guide our work every day.

Meanwhile, Faith Presbyterian Hospice honored the day in a more reflective, meaningful way. Teammates and volunteers decorated the inpatient rooms and common areas at the T. Boone Pickens Hospice Center with flags and patriotic touches, while families and patients shared stories of service, sacrifice and love. The focus was on honoring those who’ve served and remembering the freedoms we hold dear.

Over at The Outlook at Windhaven, residents gathered for a classic Independence Day cookout complete with live music, festive décor and the smell of grilled favorites filling the air. The mood was light, the company was lively and everyone enjoyed raising a glass to freedom and friendship.

At Presbyterian Village North, red, white and “woof” took center stage at the 19th Annual Pet-riotic Parade. Residents, teammates and their pups dressed in patriotic attire and strolled through campus, spreading smiles with every wagging tail. The celebration wrapped up lakeside with donuts, root beer floats and pup cups for the furry participants. It was a heartwarming morning filled with laughter, community and a touch of nostalgia. No matter the setting, the heart of our celebrations was the same—connection, community and gratitude. At Forefront Living, we’re proud to serve individuals from all walks of life, and events like these are a reminder of how much we can celebrate when we come together.
From cookouts to parades to quiet moments of reflection, Independence Day was celebrated in true Forefront fashion—with care, compassion and a whole lot of spirit.
