Forefront Living Names Executive Director for Bella Vida

Forefront Living is proud to announce that Brooks T. Powell will serve as Executive Director of Bella Vida (BV), our soon-to-open senior living community in San Antonio. With a proven track record of leadership in Life Plan Communities, Brooks brings a great blend of experience, vision and heart to guide BV through its opening and beyond. His passion for creating places where older adults are encouraged to thrive will be an asset to Bella Vida as the community grows.

A native of San Antonio, Brooks brings both professional expertise and a personal connection to the city he calls home. His career began in higher education and consulting before discovering his calling in senior living – a field that combines his business acumen with his heart for service. He has spent the last eight years in a variety of roles at Morningside Ministries, most recently as Executive Director of the Menger Springs campus. Known for his approachable leadership style, open-door policy and genuine care for both residents and teammates, Brooks has a talent for bringing people together and creating an atmosphere of warmth and belonging. As Bella Vida prepares to open its doors Brooks will join the other BV teammates to continue building a community that reflects Forefront Living’s mission of empowering individuals to thrive.

When not serving seniors, Brooks enjoys spending time with his family, including his wife, Emily, and children: Harper, Taylor and Asher. He is a dedicated sports fan who loves coaching his sons’ little league teams, cheering on his daughter’s ice skating and attending Baylor athletics events throughout the year.
