Celebrating Remarkable Moments of Giving Back: Each Moment Matters VIP Reception 2023

On the night of September 6, 2023, a remarkable event unfolded as more than 75 attendees gathered for the annual Each Moment Matters VIP Reception. Hosted by Forefront Living Foundation (FLF) at the home of Tucker and Rich Enthoven, this exclusive soirée was designed to celebrate those individuals and organizations in our community who embody the spirit of making each moment count.

At the heart of the Each Moment Matters Luncheon is a tradition of recognizing those who go above and beyond to create a profound impact. These honorees serve as a source of inspiration, motivating all of us to give back and make every moment meaningful.

The following exceptional individuals and organizations took center stage at the reception:

Jill Bach: Despite facing a Stage IV ovarian cancer diagnosis at the age of 44, Jill Bach co-founded the “Be the Difference Foundation.” Her unwavering dedication to supporting others affected by ovarian cancer serves as an inspiration to us all.

Business Jet Center & Business Jet Cares: Operating from Dallas Love Field, Business Jet Center and its philanthropic arm, Business Jet Cares, have been giving back to the community for an impressive 11 years. Their focus on supporting children, veterans and pets exemplifies the spirit of community giving.

Marlene Casco: With 39 years of experience in nursing, including six years at Faith Presbyterian Hospice, Marlene Casco has devoted her career to providing dignified end-of-life care. Her role as Director of Clinical Services demonstrates her unwavering commitment to compassionate caregiving.

Dr. Joan Buchanan Hill: Leading The Lamplighter School for over 13 years, Dr. Joan Buchanan Hill fosters joyful and experiential learning. Her work empowers students from pre-K to fourth grade to take ownership of their educational journey, making each moment in the classroom meaningful.

Sarah Losinger: Inspired by her parents’ passion for community service, Sarah Losinger has embraced her family’s philanthropic spirit by serving on numerous boards. Her focus on science, education, arts, justice, and community collaboration has made a substantial impact on our community.

While those listed above were celebrated in person, a few honorees who were unable to join us also received special recognition:

Alvaro Montoya: Alvaro Montoya made history as the National Hockey League’s first Spanish-speaking Cuban American player. He now serves as the Director of Community Outreach for the Dallas Stars, enhancing access and opportunities in hockey for underrepresented groups.

Cathy and Bill Davis: Forefront Living Trustees Cathy and Bill Davis exemplify unwavering commitment to compassionate end-of-life care through their tireless advocacy.

FLF extends their heartfelt gratitude to Business Jet Center for underwriting the VIP Reception and to Sam Pack Auto Group for underwriting the valet services for the evening. Delicious bites and beverages were provided by Art2Catering, beautiful music filled the air courtesy of Sarah Copus and guests received one-of-a-kind fashion sketches of themselves from one of Dallas’ premiere illustrators, ACA Event Designs.
