Hooray for Hollywood! PVN WWII Veteran, John “Lucky” Luckadoo, Attends ‘Masters of the Air’ Premiere in LA

Presbyterian Village North resident John “Lucky” Luckadoo, a WWII and 100th Bomb Group Veteran, was a distinguished guest at the ‘Masters of the Air’ Los Angeles premiere on January 10. The star-studded event featured key cast members, including Austin Butler, Raff Law, Barry Keoghan and Callum Turner, walking the black carpet to celebrate the impending debut of the war drama series.

Executive producers Tom Hanks, Steven Spielberg and Gary Goetzman were present at the premiere, joined by Hanks’ wife Rita Wilson and sons Chet and Truman. The Masters of the Air series, depicting the compelling journey of the 100th Bomb Group of the Air Force during World War II, is set to premiere on Apple TV+ on January 26, 2024. Subsequent episodes will be released every Friday until March 15, 2024.

Amidst the glitz and glamour of the Los Angeles gathering, John “Lucky” Luckadoo took a moment for a special photo opportunity on the red carpet with the executive producers, adding a personal touch to the memorable occasion.
