Support Programs from Forefront Living

Through our communities and partners, Forefront Living has proudly been a part of many important support programs that serve a range of audiences and needs. Here are just a few that exemplify our commitment to improving the lives of those we serve.

Empowered Living

Empowered Living (EL) an in-home personal assistance service offered as a joint venture through Forefront Living and Focused Health Services and is currently available at Presbyterian Village North (PVN) and The Outlook at Windhaven (OAW).

EL teammates can be hired to help with bathing, meal preparation, light housekeeping and companionship to enhance a resident’s quality of life. Services are also available for those with cognitive challenges. Caregivers are matched with residents based on skill, availability, location and personality to create the best fit. Personalized care is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week with a mission is to provide exceptional, personalized residential home care empowering seniors to live with dignity and respect.

Massage Therapy*

The healing power of touch is the foundation of our Massage Therapy program. These short sessions are designed to encourage physical and emotional relief, comfort, and relaxation. More than just simply helping people feel better, massages can enhance overall mobility and flexibility and encourage ongoing physical activity that helps maintain overall good health.

Music Therapy*

Music is more than background noise — it’s a powerful part of how we care for people. Our music therapy program brings peace, comfort and connection to patients and families through personalized sessions designed to meet emotional and physical needs. Whether it’s easing pain, calming anxiety or simply creating space for memories and reflection, these sessions are a beautiful reminder of how healing music can be.

Helping U Grow Stronger (HUGS)

The HUGS program is a lifeline for family caregivers, offering them much-needed support through volunteers known as HUGS Ambassadors—individuals who have walked the same caregiving path and completed a specialized training program. These ambassadors are available to offer virtual or in-person encouragement, advice and empathy. The HUGS program also includes peer support, caregiver groups and resources to those who may feel overwhelmed, isolated or afraid.

Faith Kids & Camp Erin*

We recognize that children are particularly vulnerable and need to express their concerns, anxieties and fears. Faith Kids is a free monthly support group for children ages 3 to 18. The peer-to-peer support of other children who have suffered a loss has proven invaluable in helping kids become stronger and grieve in healthier ways. In addition, Forefront Living is part of the Eluna Network and offers Camp Erin: a free, annual, weekend bereavement camp for youth and their families. Click here to learn more about Camp Erin.
