At Bella Vida’s (BV) “Paws and Patterns” event, 14 BV VIPs and BV teammates gathered for a visit from San Antonio Pets Alive! (SAPA!), a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. The team from SAPA! shared about their work rescuing at-risk cats and dogs across the city. They are the only high-volume rescue of their kind in San Antonio, saving around 5,000 animals annually who might otherwise be put down due to lack of shelter space or available foster homes.
Special guests included an adorable two-month old puppy named Al and a sweet adult dog named Imelda. Event attendees enjoyed spending time with these furry friends as they shared lots of cuddles, tail wags and smiles in the comfort of the BV Information Center. After the presentation and pet-stravaganza, everyone felt inspired and got right to work making 30 fleece blankets that will be donated to help keep the animals in SAPA!’s care nice and cozy.
Bella Vida is happy to be able to support a local organization doing such important work and to looks forward to holding a similar event again soon to keep the collaboration going.
