A Note From Brooks Powell – January 2026

Spiritual care is an essential part of life for many residents. I’m thankful for Forefront Living’s commitment to supporting this aspect of whole-person wellness through on-site chaplains and focused programing. It will be exciting to see how these spiritual life resources are established and expanded alongside Bella Vida (BV).

This year is shaping up to be an exciting one for BV as construction continues to progress and the campus takes shape.

One recent milestone is the progress on the wood framing for several of the Villas and the Memory Support building. It’s amazing to see Bella Vida begin to rise up from the hilltop.

One of Bella Vida’s sister communities, The Outlook at Windhaven (OAW), has recently reached a notable milestone of its own. For those who aren’t familiar with OAW, it is Forefront Living’s (FL) Plano senior living community that opened in 2024. In December, OAW reached 95 percent occupancy, well ahead of schedule. Within a year of fully opening, OAW is a thriving and successful community on a beautiful, well-designed campus. It’s a great testament to the quality and value of FL communities.

As the most recent new-construction addition to the FL family, OAW serves as a helpful benchmark of what progress is expected to look like for our campus. We look forward to similar success at Bella Vida. I’m thankful for the teammates who will help us get there. We’re blessed with great and highly-qualified people in Sally, Tamara, Jodi, Nathan, Rachel and our newest addition – Kimberly. Their tireless effort and dedication shine through consistently. I’m excited to see what milestones they reach with Bella Vida this year.
