On June 3, Presbyterian Village North (PVN) was buzzing with cameras, lights and a full production crew as All Access with Andy Garcia arrived to capture a full day of life on a Forefront Living (FL) campus.
The day started early with several carts full of filming gear unloading at 7:30 a.m. and from there it was nonstop storytelling in motion. By 8:00 a.m. the team was already filming a high energy spin class quickly followed by aqua fitness, providing future viewers a real sense of the vibrant life happening at PVN.
Throughout the morning, interviews brought the heart of the story into focus. PVN resident Pam Altizer, The Outlook at Windhaven’s residents Dick and Jan Agin, Rahim Habib of CliftonLarsonAllen (CLA) and FL CEO Tim Mallad sat down in front of the camera, sharing thoughts, experiences and everyday moments that make FL communities feel like home. Between interviews the crew moved quickly to capture natural interactions, including residents chatting amongst themselves and with teammates.
By midday the production had settled into its rhythm. Lights were adjusted, cameras reset and the story kept unfolding. After a quick lunch break the energy shifted outdoors. A cookout with margaritas at Gruchalla Pavilion added a playful community feel to the shoot followed by time in the garden where residents tended plants and enjoyed the sunshine.
Behind the scenes it all moved like a well choreographed dance with camera angles shifting, sound bites captured and B-roll gathered from every corner of campus. From morning workouts to afternoon laughter on the walking path, the crew worked to record not just a place but a lifestyle.
By 5:00 p.m. the gear was packed, the footage secured and the team wrapped for the day leaving behind a snapshot of a community that is active, lively and full of story at every turn.
Although the shoot has wrapped, the story is just beginning. The footage captured at PVN will be transformed into a powerful corporate profile, a commercial designed for broader audiences and approximately 100 short video spots that will be shared across digital platforms. Together, these vignettes will help showcase the people, purpose and vibrant spirit that make Forefront Living communities such a special places to live and work.
