This month, Bella Vida (BV) VIPs are supporting area teachers by participating in the Write Start Project, a back-to-school initiative through the United Way of San Antonio and Bexar County that provides educators with classroom essentials before the school year begins.
Supplies needed include:
- #2 pencils
- Composition notebooks
- Crayons
- Disinfecting wipes
- Dry-erase markers
- Glue sticks
- Hand sanitizer
- Highlighters
- Notebook paper
- Pens
- Permanent markers
- Spiral notebooks
- Sticky notes
- Zipper storage bags
Through this drive, future residents of BV are helping teachers feel supported as they prepare to welcome students back to the classroom. While the BV community is still under construction, VIPs and teammates are always looking for opportunities to give back to the community.
Community members are invited to drop off items at the BV Information Center through August 7. The collected supplies will be delivered by BV teammates to one of the United Way’s official drop-off locations supporting teachers in Northeast ISD.
At BV, the sense community continues to grow as future neighbors come together to make a difference for local students and teachers.
