Leaders in Action: Bringing ‘Moments that Matter’ to St. Joseph Village

On the morning of October 20, Forefront Living CEO, Tim Mallad, and Corporate Director of People and Culture, Kristin Rushman, spent time with teammates at St. Joseph Village (SJV) to share the history of Forefront Living (FL) and review its mission, vision and values. They also provided guidance on leading the daily “Moments that Matter” (MTM) meetings, offering practical tips for making these gatherings meaningful and engaging.

MTM meetings are a cornerstone of how FL teams stay connected to the organization’s purpose and these quick daily huddles give staff a chance to pause, reflect and focus on what truly matters.

Why MTM is important:

  • It helps teams keep the mission, vision and values front and center in everything they do.
  • It strengthens team connection and reinforces purpose.
  • It allows everyone to share inspiration and start the day on a positive note.

Leadership for MTM rotates among team members, giving everyone a chance to inspire colleagues and keep the team energized and focused. Tim and Kristin’s morning at SJV highlighted the impact these small daily moments have on team culture and the work FL does every day.
