OAW and PVN Residents Celebrate Fall at the Dallas Arboretum

Fall has arrived in Dallas, bringing cooler temperatures and the perfect reason for a fun resident outing! Residents from sister communities The Outlook at Windhaven (OAW) and Presbyterian Village North (PVN) enjoyed a beautiful day by exploring the Dallas Arboretum together.

The Dallas Arboretum is known for its extravagant seasonal displays including the iconic Pumpkin Village. This year, the gardens transformed into Mundo Mexico, a colorful celebration of Mexican culture, contemporary art and the beauty of the harvest season.

With more than 110,000 pumpkins, gourds and squash, this year’s autumnal display reimagines seven Mexican regions through its vibrant artistry and design.

Key themes included Zapotec traditions and the rich plant life of Mexico.

This was the highlight for many of the residents.

The Dallas Arboretum visit is one of many shared outings enjoyed by OAW and PVN residents.
