Bella Vida (BV) VIPs supported area teachers by donating classroom essentials through the Write Start Project, a back-to-school initiative of United Way of San Antonio and Bexar County.
Thirty-five future BV residents participated in the supply drive, filling the collection box several times over. Supplies collected included #2 pencils, composition notebooks, crayons, disinfecting wipes, dry erase markers, glue sticks, hand sanitizer, highlighters, notebook paper, pens, permanent markers, spiral notebooks, sticky notes and zipper storage bags.
The donations were delivered to United Way of Bexar County, which will distribute the supplies to teachers in Northeast Independent School District through the Write Start Project. BV teammates, Nathan and Sally, dropped off the donations at a local collection site.
