DAMN LUCKY: Book Release and Tour

In the captivating book, DAMN LUCKY: One Man’s Courage During the Bloodiest Military Campaign in Aviation History, New York Times bestselling author, Kevin Maurer, recounts the true and fascinating story of Presbyterian Village North (PVN)’s very own resident John “Lucky” Luckadoo, who flew some of the deadliest aviation missions of World War II.

The official book release date is April 19, which is also the date Lucky kicks off his five-state book tour. The tour includes stops in Georgia, North Carolina, Lucky’s hometown of Dallas, Texas, Arkansas and Mississippi.

As a special event for PVN residents, on the afternoon of May 19, Lucky will provide an “author’s chat” and exclusive book-signing opportunity in the newly renovated Library.
