Residents across Forefront Living’s (FL) three operating senior living communities, The Outlook at Windhaven, Presbyterian Village North and St. Joseph Village, attended a series of presentations on planned giving. These events were hosted by the Forefront Living Foundation (FLF) and investment partner, Glenmede, which serves as the FLF’s Outsourced Chief Investment Officer (OCIO), managing the organization’s investments. The presentations gave residents a look at how intentional giving can align with their personal values while supporting the causes that matter most to them.
During the presentations, “Intentional Philanthropy and an Introduction to Planned Giving Strategies,” the Glenmede team encouraged residents to reflect on the motivation behind their charitable giving and shared how life experiences can influence the causes that become most meaningful to people. Residents learned about a variety of planned giving options and how gifts of assets or property can support causes close to their heart. Following Glenmede’s portion of the program, Diane Fullingim, FLF Executive Director, gave an overview of the many ways the FLF supports residents and programming, emphasizing how philanthropy enhances life across the FL organization.
“It was such a meaningful experience to co-present with our new investment partner, Glenmede. Together, we were able to deliver information on all aspects of giving, from estate gifts that will create a legacy, to individual gifts that impact the individual communities our residents live in today,” shared Diane.
