Forefront Living (FL) is pleased to announce that Chef Raul Solano has accepted the role of Interim Culinary Director at St. Joseph Village (SJV). In this position, Raul will oversee the day-to-day operations of the culinary department, including supervising dining room activities during meal service, training and mentoring teammates and maintaining excellence in food service within a mission-driven culture.
In addition to his expanding role, Raul currently serves as Executive Chef and Culinary Services Manager at the Mabee Foundation Café, located on the T. Boone Pickens Campus in Dallas. He manages the Café culinary operations and provides a delicious, nourishing dining experience for guests and teammates. Raul is passionate about preparing and serving great meals and stays inspired by the opportunity to deliver his very best each day. Raul says that seeing people smile while enjoying a meal is the most rewarding aspect of his role.
Raul was nominated for Thomas Cuisine’s 2025 Outstanding and Emerging Chef award, recognizing his hard work and passion for the culinary craft. He was honored to be named one of the top ten finalists.
Raul and his wife, Jessica, have been married for 20 years and have three children. His favorite dishes to cook are braised beef short ribs and smoked ribs or brisket. Forefront Living is proud to share Raul’s talents with SJV, the newest member of the FL family.
