Forefront Living is pleased to announce that Katia Xiong has accepted the role of Executive Director at St. Joseph Village (SJV). In this position, Katia will oversee the day-to-day operations of the community, supporting residents, families and teammates while striving to achieve operational excellence and a strong, mission driven culture.
Katia brings more than 15 years of leadership experience in senior living. She most recently served as Associate Executive Director at SJV’s sister community, Presbyterian Village North (PVN) in Dallas. At PVN she played a key role in community operations, team development and resident engagement. Prior to joining PVN in 2023, Katia served as Executive Director at The Tradition Prestonwood in Dallas and The Tradition Buffalo Speedway in Houston. Her professional journey also includes experience in payroll and business office leadership, giving her a deep understanding of the operational and financial foundations that support thriving communities.
Katia holds a bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration and is known for her thoughtful leadership style, collaborative spirit and commitment to service. She has consistently demonstrated a passion for creating environments where residents feel at home and teammates feel valued.
“I’m grateful for the opportunity to officially serve as Executive Director. This transition period has shown me what our community is capable of, and I’m energized to continue building a strong culture, elevate the resident experience and position us for long-term growth,” Katia said.
In addition to her professional experience, Katia was selected to participate in the LeadingAge Texas Leadership Collective, a competitive program designed to cultivate emerging leaders in aging services. Through this experience, she strengthened her strategic leadership skills and deepened her commitment to innovation and excellence in senior living.
