In April, the Forefront Living Foundation (FLF) announced Teammate Scholarship Funds will soon be accessible to employees across each operating Forefront Living (FL) entity. The initiative will also provide residents with an opportunity to support those who care for and serve them daily. Through these funds, managed by the FLF, teammates at The Outlook at Windhaven, Presbyterian Village North and St. Joseph Village can continue their education, learn new professional skills and advance their careers.
In early April, the scholarship campaign launched across all three senior living communities, with a matching gift opportunity from FLF of up to $25,000 per campus available through May 31, 2026. Every donated dollar stays within the designated community, directly supporting its teammates.
FLF Executive Director, Diane Fullingim, shared, “Investing in teammate education is so important. It shows that we care about professional development and residents will experience benefits too by helping staff stay current on the latest therapies and technologies.”
Scholarship application submissions will be reviewed by an official committee comprised of FL leadership. Whether someone wants to work toward a certification, further advance in their field or explore a new path in senior living, these scholarships can help make professional goals possible.
Diane encourages residents to be a catalyst to inspire teammates to grow in their career, “Consider supporting a teammate’s journey, you never know the difference it could make. I’ve witnessed the life-changing impact of a LVN earning her RN degree and I’ve seen how becoming a certified yoga instructor can benefit an entire community with new wellness programs and fresh enthusiasm.”
Gifts to the Teammate Scholarship Fund are accepted year-round, but the matching gift benefit is only in effect until the end of May, making early giving go further. To donate or learn more, please contact Diane Fullingim, FLF Executive Director.
